Patricia White Litigation & Advocacy Ltd (trading name PW-LA) specialise in Civil, Commercial & Employment Litigation & Legal Advocacy. Providing one stop Alternative Dispute Resolution and a cost effective solution for all of your legal needs.  Whether you are a Litigant in Person or require full-service conduct of litigation and Court or Tribunal legal advocacy representation, we can assist you.

PW-LA are seeing a growing demand of enquiries from Litigants in Person and offer bespoke packages for assisting from document drafting to representation at hearings.

Unbundling services
Unbundling is defined as being tasks that make up a service being divided between lawyers and Litigants in Person. 
Litigants in Person would usually carry out the less complex areas of case preparation themselves, and we would assist on an ad hoc basis with more complex preparations and advice on procedure.

Fixed Fees are available with around 20% deduction on standard rates are available and Damage Based Agreement (Contingency fees) funding.  Further explanation can be found within our legal fees page.

Patricia and her team of Personal Assistants are straight talking, simply saying it as it is, because being a law firm established by a Yorkshire born founder, with a strong ethical background, our clients appreciate the transparency they experience. You can be assured that you will be advised on what can and cannot be achieved through the administration of the Law and within the Court and Tribunal procedures.

Patricia’s caseload includes high level debt recovery, breach of contract, commercial litigation, land and consumer disputes, breach of duty occupiers liability, repossessions, boundary disputes, family and probate disputes and professional negligence/liability. Patricia acts for claimants and defendants.

A variety of disputes and claims in Employment Tribunals includes unfair/constructive dismissal, discrimination (race, sex, age, disability, pregnancy and maternity), Whistleblowing, unlawful deductions from wages and redundancy. 

Online & Home Visit Options

PW-LA are a fully operating digital law firm offering face to face meetings; home visits for clients with mobility issues and consultations via Zoom, Skype, WhatsApp and telephone.  AI technology is well established and a tested resource supporting the flexibility to work with and communicate with clients at a time that suits them, anytime and from anywhere. You can contact Patricia and her Personal Assistants through text message, WhatsApp or via email and telephone, with facilities to leaving urgent messages outside of hours that will receive immediate attention.  We know that the busy life we all lead means that 9 – 5, Monday to Friday, does not work for most clients, and that is why flexibility of access is important for the service provided.  

About our Managing Director

Patricia White is the founder of PW-LA and sole Company Director.  Patricia has specialised in Litigation and Dispute Resolution for over 24 years. She is a Commissioner for Oaths and a Qualified Civil, Commercial & Workplace Mediator. Patricia is fully qualified and authorised to conduct litigation and exercise Rights of Audience in accordance with the Legal Services Act (Civ 73585/021) and is a Grade A Fee Earner under the Civil Fees Guidelines. 

Patricia has appeared as an Advocate in person at various Courts and Employment Tribunals across England & Wales including Central and Outer London Courts, Bristol, Watford, Manchester, Newcastle, Leeds, Nottingham, Birmingham, Doncaster, Hull, Leicester, York, Scarborough, Harrogate, and Bradford.
